Exhibit highlights:
This exhibition features one of 20 commemorative medals presented to the President, Governor, New York City Mayor and other VIPs at the opening of the canal in 1825, rare New York State Canal Department bonds, and ../images of the Erie dating from the early 1800s.

Other venues: The panel portion of this exhibition will travel throughout New York state, as the state continues to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the canal system.
