The Museum's exhibitions use our collection to tell the stories of
American finance and by doing so help inspire people to take control of their
own financial lives. The permanent collection contains more than 10,000
documents and artifacts and is constantly growing.
The Museum's move to 48 Wall
Street will result in an exhibition space ten times that
of our previous location. Through our four permanent galleries and
special-focus temporary exhibitions, visitors will understand the
potential rewards of low-risk and high-risk investments and explore the
history and future of Wall Street. Visitors will also experience how our
monetary and banking systems have evolved, and hear the inspiring stories
of some of America's greatest entrepreneurs.
The majestic grand mezzanine of 48 Wall Street will house four permanent
exhibitions as well as space for temporary exhibits.

Three towers will bring New York's securities and commodities markets to
life through up-to-the-minute electronic stock tickers, current and
historic video as well as interactive elements to create a full experience
for the visitor.
Visitors can interact with great American entrepreneurs asking them
questions and finding out how they turned their dreams into realities.

America's Founding Father of Finance, Alexander Hamilton, will be the
focus of the "Hamilton Room." Visitors will explore his life and
work from his modest beginnings in the Caribbean to his place in history
as America's first Treasury Secretary.
